Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented student with interests in inventory control to join the Skyworks equipment engineering excellence team in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and have some experience working with SAP inventory management system.

Responsibilities

+ Configuring new parts in SAP inventory management system

+ Set min / max levels, using historical usage values

+ Set up and configure MRP reports

+ Extract and review usage reports

+ Conduct usage analysis

+ Analyze historical usage, with ongoing usage requirements and material lead times

+ Develop plan to control purchase vs usage quantities

Required Experience and Skills

+ Must be an active university student pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting or supply chain management, or a related field

+ Must have the ability to work onsite 5 days per week for 3 months (Summer 2026)

Desired Experience and Skills

+ Interest or previous experience in the semiconductor industry

+ Experience with SAP inventory management system

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
