• Trailer Technician

    D&E Transport, Inc (Clearwater, MN)


    ### Job Duties

    Responsibilities

    • Repair and maintain company fleet of Conestoga flat bed trailers.

    • Trailer inspections, identifying/diagnosing issues and conducting necessary repairs including but not limited to brakes, tires, suspension systems, etc.

    • Perform DOT inspections to ensure safety and road worthiness.

    • Maintaining all components of rolling tarp systems.

    • Welding and fabricating parts.

    • Keeping details records of repairs, inspections and maintenance tasks.

    • Communicating with drivers and fleet managers.

    • Other job duties as designated by Shop Director.

    ### Minimum Education Required

    • Strong communication skills

    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

    • Minnesota DOT (or willingness to obtain)

    • Minimum Five (5) years trailer maintenance experience

    • Driver’s License

    • Must possess your own set of tools

    ### Minimum Experience Required
