    Job Description:

    Leading healthcare systems organization is seeking to add a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This mid-level role is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven environments and is passionate about transforming raw financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, with strong accounting knowledge to support month-end close is required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including budget vs. actuals and PO balance reports

    -Support month-end close activities, including accruals and variance analysis

    -Investigate financial data trends and anomalies to answer the critical question: “Why are we doing this?”

     

    -Extract and manipulate raw data into Excel using advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

     

    -Perform manual data pulls from various systems to support reporting needs

     

    -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency

     

    -Assist in developing and maintaining reporting templates and dashboards

    Qualifcations:

    -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

     

    -3–5 years of experience in financial analyst experience

     

    -Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas)

     

    -Experience with Power Bi (nice to have)

     

    -Strong accounting knowledge, understanding debits and credits, accruals, etc.

     

    -Experience with month-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations

     

    -Ability to work with large datasets and translate them into meaningful reports

     

    -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

     

    -Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is a plus

    Additional Details:

    This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity, the team is looking for a long-term fit.

     

    Hybrid schedule 1-2 days onsite in either Menlo Park, Newark or Redwood City, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $56.90/hr.
