Job Title: Representative, Customer Service - SkilledJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative who will provide exceptional customer services related to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications. This role is vital in ensuring that good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly and effectively, in accordance with consumer laws. The position involves developing organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers, as well as creating improvement plans in response to customer surveys. The job requires knowledge gained through experience, specialized education, or training.

Responsibilities

+ Provide customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications.

+ Maintain good customer relations and resolve customer claims and complaints fairly and effectively.

+ Develop organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers.

+ Create improvement plans based on customer surveys.

+ Follow well-defined procedures and guidelines to aid in decision making.

Essential Skills

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.

+ Basic understanding of work routines and procedures in customer service.

+ Proficiency in data entry and customer support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Specialized education or training in customer service or related fields.

Work Environment

The work involves following clearly defined procedures and tasks within well-defined guidelines. It may involve a variety of work routines. The position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment where customer service excellence is a priority.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Staunton, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
