Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Engineering Inspector I - LTA . The Engineering Inspector I - LTA position r eports to the Engineering Inspections Supervisor .

The primary job duties of this position include:

+ Perform inspections and coordinate related inspection activities.

+ Ensure utility installations are installed at proper depth and alignment as noted in the approved plans and adopted standards.

+ Perform pre-construction meetings with contractors and utility providers.

+ Ensure dry utility installations meet Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Standards and details, as well as all adopted Town Standards.

+ Document and enter inspection information in computer databases.

+ Document inspections in the Town's electronic permitting software.

This position is At-Will and FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)

+ 1-2 years of experience, such as engineering, project management, construction inspection, materials testing, or related field (Engineering)

+ Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job classification.

+ Valid AZ Driver's License.

This position has been designated as a Medium work position that involves spending much of the workday in an outdoor environment.
