    Job Title: Claims ExaminerJob Description

     

    This position entails the review, investigation, and evaluation of claims to determine eligibility. The role involves negotiating resolutions in compliance with all policies and state regulatory requirements while managing a large volume of claims.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure timely and accurate payment to customers and providers.

    + Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.

    + Handle customer reimbursement requests.

    + Validate daily NHS wire payments and exceptions.

    + Manage reconciliation of Customer Preferred Pricing transactions.

    + Assist with customer inquiries regarding claim status.

    + Analyze and validate a high volume of claims data, entering it into the proprietary operating system.

    + Index invoices and move them to appropriate locations.

    + Perform filing and other administrative duties as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 1 year of office experience in data entry, dispatching, claims, or provider relations.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to influence others.

    + Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills.

    + Persuasive, thorough, and a strong team player.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in retail with an associate's degree.

    + Skilled in Microsoft Excel.

    Work Environment

    The work is performed within the Claims Management Department, which consists of a team of 15, including two Claims Supervisors and thirteen Claims Examiners. The brand new office in Naperville features a gym, basketball court, coffee shop, and convenience store, providing a modern, energetic environment with a pit-style layout. The office includes a nice kitchen area equipped with a soda machine. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

    This is a Contract position based out of Naperville, Illinois.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
