The Department of Sociology at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley ( UTRGV ) occasionally has the need to hire Graduate Students to assist in the areas of teaching (TAs), research (RAs), or administration (GAs).
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Enrollment in the Sociology MS or Disaster Studies MA program. If hired as Graduate Teaching Assistant, must have 18 hours of advanced hours in Sociology.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications: Graduate coursework in Sociology
Preferred Qualification: Research or teaching experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning. Ability to teach online is preferred.
