The Solutions Architect is responsible for working independently to set and achieve objectives tied to functional targets and goals. The role mentors and guides team members, coordinates project activities, and applies independent judgment to deliver creative solutions to complex partner challenges.

What You Will Do

+ Set and achieve partner enablement objectives aligned with Red Hat’s strategy.

+ Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

+ Lead technical co-creation activities, including workshops and pilot projects.

+ Coordinate Red Hat technical resources to ensure customer adoption and satisfaction.

+ Design innovative technical solutions addressing partner-specific challenges.

+ Map business problems and technical challenges onto Red Hat’s solutions and utilizing Google Cloud

+ Develop lasting relationships with key technical and business stakeholders at Google and Red Hat’s partners

+ Follow and understand industry trends

+ Manage customer satisfaction issues through escalation paths provided to Red Hat’s support methods and frequent checkpoints with customers both before and after the sale

+ Manage technical account plans for key strategic partnership aligned objectives with best practices created by GtM efforts

+ Help to lead identification of key areas for strategic GtM efforts with Google and Red Hat

+ Develop the overall technical account plan and strategy; lead an ongoing cadence with all technical associates

+ Present the value of the Red Hat and Google relationship and execute demo's for large audiences, customers, Google and Red Hat sales, and ecosystem partners

+ Participate in workshops and scoping of professional services

+ Engage and lead in the process of opportunity development

+ Work with strategic partners of Red Hat and Google to expand our efforts for partner and customer success

What You Will Bring

+ 5+ years of experience working in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or in an equivalent field supporting sales and ecosystem partners

+ Ability to deploy infrastructure and marketplace solutions in Google Cloud. Experience with other hyper-scaler experience will be considered.

+ Google Cloud Certifications (certifications with other hyper-scalers will be considered)

+ Fundamental knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems

+ Knowledge of all Red Hat’s solutions and overall architecture; ongoing Red Hat’s solutions and sales training through continuing education

+ Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills

+ Demonstrated record of developing relationships across multiple business segments and roles

+ Ability to interpret customer business problems and technical issues and effectively explain how Google and Red Hat’s solutions align with identified challenges or requirements

+ Knowledge of enterprise solutions and architectures including; container technology, DevOps, public cloud technologies, automation & virtualization

+ Willingness to travel, maximum of 50%

+ Manager-directed deeper knowledge of our offerings; presentation skills

+ Technical account plan creation and business value discovery experience

The salary range for this position is $168,650.00 - $269,960.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
