    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Desktop Support Technician to join our End User Support team. This individual will be responsible for resolving support tickets, assisting users with hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. While extensive experience is not required, candidates should have a foundational understanding of IT systems and prior work experience in a professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Ticket Resolution:

    + Monitor, prioritize, and close support tickets in a timely and professional manner.

    + Document solutions and maintain accurate records of support activities.

    + End User Support:

    + Provide hands-on technical support to employees for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

    + Assist users with troubleshooting issues related to Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.

    + Support Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams functionality.

    + Device Setup & Troubleshooting:

    + Set up and configure new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.

    + Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

    + Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

    + User Onboarding & Offboarding:

    + Assist with provisioning accounts, setting up devices, and ensuring proper access to systems.

    + Support deactivation and recovery of equipment during offboarding.

    + Collaboration & Communication:

    + Work closely with other IT team members to escalate complex issues.

    + Communicate effectively with non-technical users to understand and resolve issues.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 1+ years of experience in a technical support or help desk role (internships or part-time roles count).

    + Basic understanding of IT concepts including networking, operating systems, and device management.

    + Familiarity with Windows 10/11 environments.

    + Experience with setting up and troubleshooting printers and common office hardware.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Teams.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

    Nice to Have:

    + Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).

    + Exposure to Active Directory or user account management.

    + Basic understanding of remote support tools and VPNs.

    Work Environment:

    + On-site support in a corporate office setting.

    + Occasional lifting or moving of equipment (up to 25 lbs).

    + Fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
