    Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of Driver Services (DDS) is seeking an intern for the 2026 Legislative Session. The Intern will gain first-hand experience with the Georgia legislative process as they assist the Governmental Affairs & Communications Director with monitoring and tracking legislation that affects DDS.

    Competencies Needed:

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule of up to 29 hours a week between the months of January through April

    • Ability to quickly adapt to challenges and new requirements

    • Ability to work in a team environment

    • Strong writing and research skills

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Currently a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, or Law Student.

     

    Position is also open to recent graduates.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Graduate level student

    • 2.5 GPA or higher
