Job Summary:
Provides support for the organization’s facilities computerized maintenance management database application, system and technology. Provides technical expertise on the database application to all end users within the organization and functions as a subject matter expert for strategic use of the system. Mentors peers on data practices and use of data analytical tools. Implements data management policies in conjunction with the manager.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provides support to the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) administrator for daily operational changes to the database.
+ Responsible for gathering, compiling and documenting data about processes and/or systems. Implements the appropriate controls to maintain the integrity of Facilities Management’s CMMS.
+ Accountable for projects to expand software responsibility and coverage including new building acquisition and incorporating other departments into the CMMS system.
+ Provides subject matter expertise (SME) in facility operations, data, CMMS and training execution. Mentors CMMS support team on data best practices and reporting software.
+ Functions as a liaison between technical staff and customers to provide a rich customer experience and troubleshooting.
+ Processes requests to update/add/delete data in the database.
+ Maintains data management system for FM, including formatting, nomenclature, structure and architecture for inputting data consistently into the database.
+ Coordinates with other departments in the organization to establish baseline procedures for data entry and processes.
+ Gathers data requirements from customers for use in reporting and business intelligence. Functions as an expert report writer and creates custom reports using the database’s tools and third-party software.
+ Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports from CMMS system to support operational needs. Provides SME to Information Service on for the automation of customer reports, financial projects (operating and capital) and asset management.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
EXPERIENCE
+ Three year of database experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
+ Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
+ Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
+ Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
+ Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
+ Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
+ Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
+ Rare climbing.
