Job Description
Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Hematologic Oncologist to join our growing Oncology Service Line.
Valley Health System is proud to partner with Mount Sinai Health System to deliver exceptional care for our oncology patients at the Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center. Valley’s cancer center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons and is QOPI certified. The department is currently comprised of 7 full-time hematologist/oncologists and 5 APPs. The successful candidate will share call with the hematologist/oncologists, sharing weekends and nights.
Valley’s accredited Internal Medicine Residency program offers teaching opportunities, with a Hematology/Oncology fellowship being planned for 2027. Clinical research opportunities are available, supported by Valley’s Research Department. Academic appointments at the Icahn School of Medicine of Mount Sinai are available for qualified candidates.
_This position will be primarily hematology focused._
Qualifications
+ An MD or DO
+ Board eligible or certification in Hematology
+ Certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology desired, but not required
+ Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required
