As a Core Data Senior Business Analyst - Vice President in Core Data, you will partner with teams across Commercial & Investment Banking to define requirements, design data products, and deliver impactful solutions. You will work within a collaborative, business-centric environment focused on scalable, resilient data architecture and product innovation. You will help us build trust in our data products and drive adoption across the firm.
You will own the delivery of business-facing solutions, working closely with business leaders, operations, and technology partners. The team manages key Systems of Record and Ref Data as a Service capabilities, supporting strategic initiatives and leveraging AI/LLM for innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities
+ Engage senior stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, logic, and data flows
+ Lead design of conceptual data models and collaborate with Data Architects on logical models
+ Build awareness and trust in core data products across Business, Operations, and Technology
+ Prepare executive communications and present data-driven recommendations to leadership
+ Solicit feedback on gaps and new needs; scope initiatives and own business-facing delivery
+ Explore opportunities to leverage AI/LLM for solution design and implementation
+ Support adoption of the strategic core data model from onboarding through downstream processing
+ Lead senior stakeholder meetings and present data models and solutions
+ Develop business cases for technology prioritization and participate in annual budgeting
+ Mentor junior analysts and lead small teams
+ Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience delivering technical or operational change
+ Knowledge of Commercial & Investment Banking businesses
+ Experience with party and account core data, client onboarding processes
+ Ability to understand logical data models and collaborate with Data Architects
+ Excellent analytical skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
+ Strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and delivering on-time
+ Experience with Agile/Product Management disciplines
+ Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities
+ Proven track record of mentoring junior analysts or leading small teams
+ Excellent relationship management, influencing, and executive communication skills
+ Ability to present fact-based recommendations clearly and concisely
+ Experience conducting analyses to guide informed business decisions
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Advanced degree in a relevant field
+ Experience implementing AI/LLM solutions in data management
+ Familiarity with Ref Data as a Service capabilities
+ Experience preparing executive-level communications
+ Demonstrated success in driving adoption of strategic data models
+ Experience in annual budgeting and business case development
+ Strong stakeholder engagement skills
