Channel Sales Excellence –** **Global Channel Sales
Overview
You will be part of a select team within Microsoft’s SME&C (Small and Medium Enterprises and Channel) Channel Sales team that helps businesses achieve their digital transformation and business goals through Microsoft solutions and partners. Our mission is to empower the Global Channel Sales organization to achieve its MCAP’s (Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions) priorities, segment accountability, and IPT (Individual Partner Target) targets. We deliver incremental impact through developing transformational operating model strategy, CSA (Cloud Solution Architect)-aligned execution guidance, effective communication and executive engagement, worldclass sales excellence, and a commitment to leadership, culture, and the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) mindset.
Your ability to drive actionable outcomes and optimize the sales process partner sales leaders and Partner Development Managers will be key. You’ll collaborate across roles to deliver forward-looking performance recommendations and insights that shape the future of your segment.
Role Purpose
Are you passionate about driving partner transformation and accelerating growth through strategic sales excellence? We are looking for an outcome-driven Sales Excellence (SE) professional to support the Channel Sales current and future business goals. You will lead a predictable Rhythm of Business (ROB) with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality four-quarter (4Q) rolling business outcomes. In this role, you’ll instill sales process discipline, guide sales leaders on Microsoft sales methodologies, and collaborate across roles and segments to proactively manage change and drive execution.

Responsibilities
+ **Pipeline Health and Management** – Support execution of predictable revenue and consumption growth by segment/solution area, aligned with Microsoft sales methodology standards.
+ **Sales Execution** – Drive and guide consistent sales excellence discipline, governance, and partner insights within and across Enterprise, GPS, and SMC-C.
+ **Sales Execution Transformation** – Implement evolving Microsoft Sales strategies, processes, and objectives to drive sustainable growth and improved sales performance.
+ **Planning Engagement** – Partner with segment leads, Finance, and Business & Sales Operations (BSO/SOPM) on fiscal year planning workstreams requiring sales excellence support.
+ **Operating Model Development** – Design and evolve the operating model to support partner transformation and execution excellence across the channel ecosystem.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
+ 4+ years experience in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years of experience using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions.
+ 3+ years of experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.
Other Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
+ 3+ years managing projects, including planning, managing timelines, and tracking progress, and/or change management experience.
+ 3+ years of experience across sales excellence, rhythm-of-business (RoB) processes, and partner engagement in a global or matrixed organization, with a focus on driving insights, planning, and performance management at scale.
Sales Excellence IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
