We are hiring for a motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to lead on proactive security and drive cross team partnerships for security assurance programs.. In this role, you will advance security by working with Security Engineers, Program and Product Managers, Developers, and Business Leaders to drive security assurance programs for services across Azure. You will partner with engineering teams, understand and analyze cloud service architecture and drive security reviews, threat modeling , defining and measuring security promises, integrating security findings to internal governance and compliance framework to ensure timely remediation and drive continue security improvements.

Responsibilities
+ Build relationships with internal teams, supporting security reviews across multiple product areas.
+ Collaborate with security partners to plan, kick-off, complete, and report security reviews and their security outcomes.
+ Define success criteria and performance metrics for the security review program in partnership with Engineering, TPM, and security team partners to ensure necessary data is developed and accessible.
+ Collaborate with engineering leaders to integrate features into product development and planning cycles. Partner closely with governance programs to align security outcomes for product teams.
+ Develop and drive performance targets by collaborating with product teams, ensuring work is tracked, coordinated, communicated, and delivered within defined timelines.
+ Enhance customer experience for product teams by providing comprehensive documentation, monitoring engagement, reporting progress, and delivering valuable insights.
+ Evangelize security investments and measure progress across the board by building metrics and reporting structures. Display passion for security assurance and protecting customers.

Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
**Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
+ Understand security fundamentals such as SDL, Threat Modelling, vulnerabilities assessment, and the ability to assess risk and collaborate with engineering teams to develop remediation plans.
+ Experience working on reporting, bug tracking, triaging, and SCRUMs. Knowledge of encryption, security protocols, software communication APIs, and operating systems including Linux and Windows.
+ Technical understanding of a broad set of technologies and the ability to learn new information at a rapid pace specially security domain knowledge.
+ Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Willingness to learn, improve, and demonstrate persistence despite setbacks.
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
