    We are seeking an experienced **Information Operations Planner (Career Field Management Support** **)** to join our team that works onsite at the Pentagon in Washington DC.

     

    In this role you will support the Air Force Information Operations (IO) Directorate with planning in support of career field management as well as strategy, policy, force design, and education oversight for Information Operations. Candidates should understand the role and responsibility of IO within Air Force operations planning cycle. Candidate should be a subject matter expert and have demonstrated experience in career field management. Apply military support concept to the direct oversight of IO programs and initiatives. Apply planning, programming and budgeting techniques to support government oversight of IO projects. Understand the role of Congress in IO resourcing and how oversight leads to the efficient execution of resources for the Department.

     

    _These positions can be filled at the Principal or Sr Principal level._

    Basic Qualifications Principal Level:

    + Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant, related experience or a Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant, related experience

    + US Citizenship is required

    + Active TS/SCI clearance is required for consideration

    + Willing to undergo a CI poly, if required

    + Experience supporting career field management

    + Experience supporting IO efforts in support of military requirements

    + Experience supporting DoD entities and senior staff officers

     

    Basic Qualifications Sr. Principal Level:

     

    + Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant, related experience or a Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant, related experience

    + US Citizenship is required

    + Active TS/SCI clearance is required for consideration

    + Willing to undergo a CI poly, if required

    + Experience supporting career field management

    + Experience supporting IO efforts in support of military requirements

    + Experience supporting DoD entities and senior staff officers

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 12 years’ experience supporting IO efforts in support of military requirements

    + Previous military headquarters staff experience

    + Experience supporting Air Force or Joint IO planning

    + Experience supporting IO operational planning in support of military requirements

    + Experience with doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership & education, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTmLPF-P) gap and solution analysis

    + Experience briefing senior US government officials

    + Familiarity with DoD and Service IO policy and processes and the Joint Planning Process

    + Team builder, collaborator, effective communicator, capacity to manage senior level engagements

    + Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints

    + Able to provide direction to determine priorities to achieve goals

     

    Primary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00

     

    Secondary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
