    Functional Job Title: System Sweeps Analyst - Non-Tolling Systems

     

    Department/Division: Tolling Operations / Roadside Tolling Operations

     

    Work Location: Randall’s Island

     

    This position is eligible for telework which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective date of hire.

    COMPENSATION

    Earnings Potential: $ 63,759 - $79,699

     

    Overtime Eligibility: Not eligible for paid overtime in accordance with FLSA

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under the direction of the Manager, Non-Tolling Systems, the System Sweeps Analyst is responsible for remotely verifying and ensuring the performance and integrity of TBTA’s non-toll collection systems. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding B&T’s $2B annual revenue stream by protecting system accuracy, ensuring contractor compliance with contractually mandated performance standards, and proactively identifying issues before they impact operations. The Analyst provides continuous system monitoring, supports certification of operational events, and contributes to performance reporting and process improvements. Key systems include Weight-In-Motion (WIM), Work Zone Speed Enforcement (WZSE), Revenue Recovery Service (RRS), and related non-tolling initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in business, technology, engineering or another related field.

     

    Additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of education

     

    Two (2) years of relevant finance/ auditing, technical experience, or tolling and Intelligent Transportation Systems experience or related field

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications, particularly Excel

     

    The ability to maintain focus when performing repetitive auditing tasks.

     

    General understanding of audit and QA procedures.

     

    Demonstrate accountability by taking ownership of monitoring results, certifications, and issue reporting to safeguard revenue and compliance.

     

    Apply strong attention to detail when reviewing and certifying system data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

     

    Work collaboratively with managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and strengthen performance.

     

    Use critical thinking to evaluate data objectively and develop effective recommendations.

     

    Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive system and revenue information.

     

    Identif y performance gaps early and drives continuous improvement through proactive recommendations and initiatives.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience with toll collection systems, auditing, technical experience, inspections or facility sweeps

     

    Knowledge of or experience with performance measurement roles

     

    Effective research, analytical, writing abilities and communication skills

     

    Knowledge of computer software and hardware systems and their application in an operating environment

     

    Knowledge and understanding of toll collection systems.

     

    Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI or other reporting tools like Tableau.

     

    NYS Driver's License.
