The Role:
The Vice President, Software Engineering for Enterprise & Credit Risk will lead Technology in close partnership with the Vice President, Product Management. Together these leaders run all aspects of Enterprise & Credit Risk Program, including technology, operations, strategic direction, go-to-market initiatives, and P&L. The existing and growing technology team develops and deploys a portfolio of solutions in the Consumer and Small Business Credit Risk space using leveraging Mastercard’s data, analytics, and relationships to transform the consumer and small business Credit Risk management area.
In this role you will lead a technology team focused on building, deploying, and scaling innovative data and analytics products across a variety of form-factors, including SASS applications, APIs, data products, and the Mastercard network. All About You:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader who is passionate about technology and innovation:
o Demonstrated experience providing strategic technology leadership on muti-year, globally scaled initiatives.
o Experience executing a technology strategy for a market facing line of business in close collaboration with Product, Data Science, and peers.
o Experience managing a technology team, including P&L, in collaboration with supporting functions.
o Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with experience presenting to executive and external stakeholders.
o Expertise and ability to lead technical decision making across a broad technology stack with the ability to go deep in any area when needed.
o Proven track leading high-performing teams with experience leading and coaching director level reports and experienced individual contributors.
o BS in engineering, computer science or related discipline.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
Pay Ranges
O'Fallon, Missouri: $200,000 - $320,000 USD
Arlington, Virginia: $230,000 - $368,000 USD
Purchase, New York: $230,000 - $368,000 USD
