Reporting directly to LinkedIn’s VP and Global Head of Business Development/Product for our Products & Services Marketplace, we are seeking a Director to lead business development for our LinkedIn Audience Network and related partnerships.
This role will drive partnerships that help extend the unique value of LinkedIn’s ad products and audiences off-platform by monetizing 3rd party publisher sites and apps. As LinkedIn moves toward a ‘Full Stack Builder’ model, you will play a key role in integrating business development, product management, and design to drive meaningful outcomes for our customers and accelerate the next phase of growth for LinkedIn’s $5B+ Marketing Solutions business.
Responsibilities:
+ Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners, optimize existing relationships, and evolve our partnership strategy and programs.
+ Manage a world-class team of Business Development and product professionals, and create a high-performing team culture. Empower and enable them to do their best work, and ensure the environment supports best practices that advance our maturity as a function.
+ Engage key stakeholders to influence and contribute to strategic recommendations and planning processes
+ Regularly provide the organization with a comprehensive overview of the market landscape, including key players, market segmentation, opportunities, and strategic recommendations
+ Evaluate and respond to inbound partnership opportunities that align with LinkedIn's strategic priorities
+ Identify, develop, prioritize, and execute partnerships through a thorough assessment of risks, opportunities, and requirements
+ Manage all stages of the deal process, from negotiation to execution, by collaborating with prospective partners and internal stakeholders
+ Lead term sheet drafting and work with legal teams on long-form agreement creation.
+ Oversee the deal sign-off process and optimize partnerships post-execution through regular reviews, performance tracking, and analysis
+ Assess and improve relevant Partner Programs, identifying areas to evolve strategies, priorities, and operating models to better serve LinkedIn, our partners, and our customers
+ Collaborate with other Product and Business Development leaders to understand and enhance performance benchmarks and best practices
+ Prepare and present detailed reports to the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, Sales Solutions, Business Development, and Executive leadership teams
+ Be the ambassador to internal stakeholders of managed partnership deals, partner strategy and partner programs
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
+ 10+ years of work experience in a product, business development or strategy role
+ Experience with advertising and marketing technology and partnerships
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in a research or analytical role at an investment bank, consulting firm, corporate M&A or finance group
+ Technical background with a strong attention to detail
+ Knowledge of Internet or enterprise software, the publishing industry, online recruitment and web technologies
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical and business skills
+ Ability to draft terms sheets, support drafting and review long-form agreements
+ Ability to work cross-functionally to develop products that help grow content ecosystems
+ Ability to think strategically about complex issues and make thoughtful recommendations and action plans
+ Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $200,000 - $325,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
