    Job Description:

    Space Systems team seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes across the lifecycle of a program – from development through production and delivery. The PQE will serve as the primary quality liaison for assigned programs, driving compliance with customer, regulatory and internal requirements.

    Essential Functions:

    + Provide drawing reviews and test procedure reviews to ensure design modifications meet all quality requirements.

    + Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action (RCCA/CAPA) using tools such as 8D, 5-why, and/or Fishbone diagrams.

    + Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action activities, lead and/or support Material Review Board and Failure Review Board meetings.

    + Working knowledge in Material Review Board (MRB) processes.

    + Ability to collaborate with multiple functions supporting the production of high-complexity aerospace products to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.

    + AS9100/ISO 9001 quality system experience.

    + Review and approve engineering documentation including drawings, work instructions, and test plans for quality compliance.

    + Interpret customer contracts, specifications, statements of work, and regulatory requirements to develop and maintain Program Quality Plans.

    + Support internal and external audits, including AS9100, and customer audits.

    + General understanding of manufacturing, materials, test and design engineering.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Strong experience with preparing and handling documentation for aerospace products.

    + Understanding of quality control methods and processes.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    + Top Secret US Security Clearance

    + Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement elements
