    Position Overview

    ELC Global Communications is seeking an Executive Director to oversee and unify the Creative Studio and Digital

    Properties, including the company’s intranet and external website. This leader will be responsible for setting and

     

    executing the company’s overall visual identity and digital experience strategy, ensuring consistency, creativity, and impact across all platforms.

     

    The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and inspirational leader who thrives at the intersection of design, brand storytelling, and digital innovation. They will define and elevate the company’s visual tone, guide an agile and talented team, and personally contribute to projects when needed. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance big-picture vision with day-to-day execution.

    Description

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Creative Leadership**

    + Define and champion the company’s creative vision and aesthetic tone across all touchpoints,from internal communications and presentations to external campaigns and digital platforms,ensuring a unified, inspiring, and distinctive company brand identity.

    + Serve as the steward of the company’s visual language, creating and maintaining design systems,guidelines, and standards that can flex across channels while preserving company brand integrity.

    + Inspire, mentor, and guide the Creative Team to produce work that is not only visually compellingbut also strategically aligned with business objectives, elevating the brand in every execution.

    + Act as a hands-on creative partner, contributing ideas, concepts, and design direction whenneeded to ensure excellence in the final product.

    + Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging the team to explore new designapproaches, tools, and technologies to keep the company’s creative output modern and impactful.

    + Partner closely with key stakeholders (Marketing, Brands, HR, Executive Team) to ensure creativesolutions are aligned with company priorities, messaging, and tone of voice.

    + Advocate for creativity at the executive level, positioning design as a driver of business value andemployee engagement.

    + **Digital Experience Leadership**

    + Lead the company’s digital ecosystem (intranet and external website), ensuring each platform isengaging, intuitive, and aligned with the brand.

    + Define digital design and user experience standards, incorporating best practices in UX, UI,accessibility, and responsive design.

    + Act as the bridge between creativity and technology, working across Global Communications, IT,Marketing, HR, and vendors to deliver platforms that are both functional and inspiring.

    + Continuously optimize and evolve digital properties using analytics, user feedback, and newtechnologies.

    + Oversee digital content strategy and governance, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment withbusiness goals.

    + Champion opportunities to modernize and innovate the company’s digital presence whilereinforcing the brand’s creative vision.

    + **Team Leadership & Management**

    + Lead, develop, and inspire a team of high-performing creative and digital professionals, fosteringcollaboration, growth, and accountability.

    + Create a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence, while also driving operational efficiencyand clarity.

    Qualifications

    + 12+ years of professional experience in creative direction, digital experience, or related fields, with atleast 5 years in a leadership role.

    + Proven track record of leading creative teams and delivering innovative, impactful visual and digitalsolutions.

    + Strong understanding of design systems, brand identity, user experience (UX), and digital platforms.

    + Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.

    + Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams through vision and example.

    + Hands-on expertise in creative direction and digital project oversight.

    + Adept at balancing visionary thinking with pragmatic execution.

    Pay Range:

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$177,000.00** to **$304,000.00** . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan. In addition,
