Work schedule for the position is Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In a climate-controlled environment.
JOB SUMMARY
Material Handler II – Day Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler II to support our stockroom operations. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility, ensuring timely replenishment to manufacturing areas and maintaining inventory accuracy through system transactions and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and execute material movements to support production schedules.
+ Perform physical and system-based transactions using RF scanners and ERP systems.
+ Replenish manufacturing areas and return unused materials to stock.
+ Support shipping, receiving, and parts preparation as needed.
+ Maintain bin organization and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
+ Dispose of scrap components and pull materials for purges.
+ Conduct cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy.
+ Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Ensure all material movements are properly documented and verified.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 2+ years of experience in warehouse, stockroom, or material handling roles.
+ Proficiency with RF scanners and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Basic math and computer skills.
+ Ability to lift and move materials safely.
Knowledge & Skills
+ Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
+ Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
+ Familiarity with inventory control practices and documentation.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
