Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 6 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e., growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
+ Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience creating customer-facing content, product demos, and usage guides.
+ Experience partnering with product management to plan, launch, and promote new product capabilities designed to drive purchase and usage.
+ Understanding of the presentation and video creation app market and promoters, especially how generative AI is driving a new wave of innovation and customer value.
+ Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-moving work environment with effective attention to detail and accuracy.
About the job
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As a Product Marketing Manager for Google Slides and Vids, you’ll work on the Workspace Product Marketing Manager team to lift awareness and usage of these products as part of Google Workspace. You will be at the forefront of AI-generated images and video, contributing to the evolution of Slides and building momentum for Vids.
You’ll work cross-functionally with product, research, and marketing colleagues to support the development, positioning, and launch of new features. You will articulate our differentiated product value and capabilities and empower our promoters and go-to-market teams to engage existing and prospective customers to drive new subscriptions and daily product usage.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
+ Define and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Google Slides and Vids, including positioning, messaging, and identifying effective channels to reach audiences.
+ Lead initiatives to increase awareness and usage, showcasing unique capabilities, especially those powered by AI, to enhance productivity and collaboration.
+ Create and manage core marketing assets, including engaging use cases, product demos, educational videos, and thought leadership content, for various customer segments.
+ Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and other Marketing teams to influence product roadmaps, support launches, and ensure cohesive execution aligned with business objectives.
+ Extract actionable insights from user, engaged, and industry research to inform marketing strategies, identify growth opportunities, and optimize campaign effectiveness.
