Position Overview:
Ameresco has an opportunity for an Integration Technician to be part of a dynamic organization that specializes in Solar Electric (Photovoltaic) System design and manufacturing. Ameresco Solar provides solar modules and Battery Based power systems for remote power applications, such as Telecommunications, Telemetry and many other market segments. This position is full-time and is based out of Chandler, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
+ Read and interpret instruction manuals, blueprints and assembly drawings.
+ Understanding of CAD drawings and symbols, flag notes, and general notes.
+ Assist in design and layout of solar electric control assemblies and systems under the supervision of Lead Electrician.
+ Complete written and electronic records (i.e. work orders, calibration sheets and material requests) required to document the work in progress.
+ Repair, test, troubleshoot, inspect solar equipment such as solar modules, DC to AC Inverters, fusing/breakers and switchgear.
+ Be available for after-hours and weekend shifts as needed.
+ Perform assigned duties as an individual or team member during all phases of assembly, integration, and testing.
+ Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits.
+ Knowledge of Solar Electricity (Photovoltaics) a plus.
+ Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements.
+ Use various types of Power Tools.
+ Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by state of residence.
