    Department Details

    Schedule for this role: Monday-Friday, 4–10-hour shifts, 7am-5:30pm, with one day off a week. No weekends, no late nights, no holidays.

    Job Summary

    Responsible for on-site reprocessing of flexible endoscopes, ensuring surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are decontaminated, inspected, and documented per manufacturer guidelines and facility policies. Join our new gastrointestinal center, as we expand our services, we are excited to open an Endoscope Reprocessing Technician position. In this role, you will be responsible for:

     

    Cleaning, disinfecting, and reprocessing endoscopes and accessories

     

    Handling, inspection, storing, and documenting devices and equipment

     

    Operating and maintaining automated endoscope reprocessors (AER)

     

    Providing quality control checks and adhering to infection prevention policies

     

    Following safety and infection control protocols

    Qualifications

    + High school education is preferred

    + Previous experience in sterile processing, endoscope processing, or healthcare is preferred

    + Sanford provides: Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) within 1 year in position and on-the-job training
