    About the role

    As a Business Analyst, Home Equity Empower, you will make an impact by driving the optimization and configuration of Empower LOS for mortgage banking clients. You will be a valued member of our Consulting team, collaborating with business, technology, and vendor partners to deliver compliant, efficient, and innovative loan origination solutions.

    In this role, you will:

    + Analyze, map, and document mortgage business processes for loan origination using Empower LOS.

    + Gather, review, and translate business requirements from stakeholders into technical Empower LOS configuration or development specifications.

    + Configure the Empower LOS system, including workflows, user permissions, automated task triggers, document management, compliance checks, and reporting.

    + Lead or support Empower LOS implementation or optimization projects, including migration from legacy platforms, new feature launches, and integrations.

    + Act as the liaison between origination teams, IT/development, and vendor support, ensuring accurate communication of requirements and prompt troubleshooting.

    + Perform testing and validation of Empower LOS updates, enhancements, and fixes to ensure they meet business needs and regulatory standards.

    + Deliver training, documentation, and process guides to origination staff for new LOS features, regulatory changes, and best practices.

    What you must have to be considered

    + Proven experience as a Business Analyst in mortgage banking or financial IT, preferably working directly with Empower LOS.

    + Strong understanding of residential mortgage origination processes.

    + Proficiency with LOS configuration, workflow automation, process mapping, technical documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams.

    + Familiarity with compliance (TRID, RESPA, HMDA), mortgage documentation, data integration, and vendor systems.

    These will help you succeed

    + Experience delivering training, documentation, and process guides for LOS users.

    + Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence.

    + Experience supporting Empower LOS implementation or optimization projects.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

    + Strong attention to detail and a commitment to process improvement.
