    Job Responsibilities:

    The district is seeking a passionate and dedicated 7th and 8th Grade Assistant Swim Coach to lead and mentor student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, promoting skill development, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all players.

     

    Stipend: $3,076 (2025-26 school year)

    Qualifications for this position:

    + Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement effective practice plans that enhance skill development and teamwork.

    + Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, supporting their academic and personal growth.

    + Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the field/court.

    + Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all team members.

    + Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and families to support student success.

    + Follow all district, state, and league regulations and policies.

    + Coordinate game schedules, travel arrangements, and equipment needs.

     

    Eligibility: Applicants must have valid U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an active work visa.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
