    SDET/Test Lead

    Required Qualifications:

    • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science (or related field)

    • Test automation lead for a highly technical role requiring strong hands-on experience in testing practices and proficiency in the following technologies:

    • Playwright (Mandatory)

    • Core Java (Mandatory)

    • AWS Cloud (Mandatory)

    • Generative AI (Mandatory)

    • TypeScript

    • Python

    Roles/Responsibilities:

    • Focused on framework creation, innovation, and solution development.

    • Lead the design and development of scalable test automation frameworks across multiple platforms.

    • Drive innovation in automation tools, techniques, and processes to improve testing efficiency.

    • Robust CI/CD-integrated automation solutions.

    • Ensure high maintainability, reusability, and performance of automation assets.

    • Conduct PoCs and feasibility studies for new automation tools and approaches.

    • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track automation effectiveness.

    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and quality-first mindset.

    • Insurance domain knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.

    Work Authorization:

    Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 - $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
