Seeking an enthusiastic leader who is energetic and creates a positive team atmosphere. The Assistant Manager supports the daily operations, ensuring excellent patient care, efficient workflow, and high-quality eyewear services. This role assists the Optical Manager in supervising staff, driving sales performance, maintaining inventory, and providing expert optical guidance to patients. Additional responsibilities include: * Assist the Optical Manager with daily operations, staff supervision, and scheduling. * Provide outstanding customer service by helping patients select frames and lenses that meet their visual and aesthetic needs. * Perform eyewear adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs to ensure comfort and proper vision correction. * Accurately interpret prescriptions and ensure lenses are ordered and fabricated to specifications. * Maintain accurate records, manage orders, and oversee inventory levels of frames, lenses, and accessories. * Support and train new team members on optical procedures, sales techniques, and customer service standards. * Help meet and exceed sales goals through team motivation, product knowledge, and effective merchandising. * Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and state/federal optical regulations. * Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly to ensure patient satisfaction. * Assist with reporting, performance tracking, and operational improvements as directed by management.
