    Job Description Summary:

    This Media Services Sr. Tech supports the OhioHealth strategic imperative of growth by supporting audio/visual technology for the OhioHealth system. The position project manages information and technology updates to improve customer experiences through the organization and conference rooms. The position has a working knowledge in installations, repairs, training, and Audio/Visual equipment, including CISCO, Crestron, Extron, and room AV system control. Computer skills required, with intimate knowledge of Teams.

    Responsibilities And Duties:

    60% Execution and Project Coordination

     

    Supports diverse set of technologies, enabling audio, visual playback, and video conferencing.

     

    Researches and evaluates new AV products and technologies and apply to system standards to stay current.

     

    Meets with clients to determine needs, budgets, meet with vendors to provide quotes for project.

     

    Designs and engineers the conference room AV system to satisfy projects needs and adhere to OhioHealth standards.

     

    Coordinates AV equipment, vendors and configures equipment for installation.

     

    Project manages vendors, permits, electric, data, and coordinates all work being completed during installation.

     

    Works in conjunction with OhioHealth IT to program and test networked equipment during and after a project.

     

    Oversees the installation to ensure quality and a safety. Serves as the onsite liaison for all contacts and changes during installation process.

     

    Finalizes install and commissions system for final approval.

     

    Performs preventive maintenance on AV equipment, IT networks, and communications systems.

     

    Identifies, performs, and facilitates needed repairs/replacement of equipment.

     

    40%: Relationships and Customer Service

     

    Provides communication between customers, vendors, and IT during preparation of installs.

     

    Communicates with customers and vendors on repairs and installs.

     

    Shares new technology with internal clients, and provides contacts where needed.

     

    Provides AV Education for completed installations, and refreshes training as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Associate's Degree

    Additional Job Description:

    Associate's degree in Audio Visual related field, or 2 years of experience in related field.

    Kind and Length of Experience:

    Experience with installs and computer software knowledge.

    Bachelor’s degree or CTS Certification

     

    Relevant experience in audio, video, or install project management
