As a Product Manager of Remote Connectivity within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Phoenix AZ, Dallas TX, Strongsville OH or Birmingham AL.

PNC is seeking a strategic and customer-focused leader to serve as the Product Manager of Remote Network Connectivity. This role centers on the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of remote connectivity solutions across business offices, branches, and distributed wired and wireless environments. The ideal candidate will drive product strategy, user experience, and cross-functional alignment to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective connectivity solutions. A background in network infrastructure is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Leadership & Strategy
• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for remote connectivity solutions.
• Translate business needs into product requirements through stakeholder engagement and market research.
• Lead product lifecycle management from ideation through deployment and optimization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, SASE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6/7) for strategic fit and business value.
• Manage financials and budgeting for the remote connectivity product set, including forecasting, cost optimization, and investment planning.
• Identify and manage product-related risks, including technology, vendor, compliance, and operational risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
• Drive continuous improvement through user feedback, analytics, and competitive benchmarking.
Operational Partnership
• Collaborate with the Remote Connectivity Team to ensure reliable service delivery and performance.
• Support operational excellence in incident response, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Align product capabilities with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships and service providers to deliver high-performing solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as a bridge between infrastructure operations and business units to ensure product alignment with organizational goals.
• Present product strategy, performance insights, and investment proposals to executive leadership.
• Lead change management and communication efforts for product rollouts and upgrades.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with 3+ years in product management or product ownership preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Strong understanding of remote access technologies and enterprise IT environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience managing distributed teams and vendor partnerships.
Preferred Skills:
• Certifications: PMP, Agile Product Owner, CCNP, CWNP (a plus, not required).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools (e.g., UXI, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
• Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA) in technology environments.

Job Description
+ Delivers products/services in alignment with business needs and objectives. Responsible for multiple teams or departments within the Enterprise Infrastructure function.
+ Leads infrastructure planning, development strategies/initiatives and product lifecycle/service orientation; determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs. Oversees portfolio/program/project management responsibilities. Directs financial management and risk management capabilities.
+ Leads stable and secure environment, incident management, product health/patching, and the asset management lifecycle. Communicates with vendors, suppliers and executive management to ensure availability of infrastructure technologies and support.
+ Designs best practices for technology architecture and management.
+ Directs, motivates, develops and oversees the performance of the management team and key staff.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $100,000.00 – $224,825.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
