    In this position, you will get to:

    Competent knowledge of sourcing in-direct commodities for manufacturing industries, including:

    Sheet metal

     

    Electrical and electronics industry

     

    Office spaces (IT/ITES)

    Industry experience in annual rate contracts for:

    Consumables

     

    Maintenance spares and services

     

    Admin and housekeeping (end-to-end including security, housekeeping, and others)

     

    Civil works

     

    Industrial works

     

    Build-to-suit industrial solutions

    Proven experience in negotiating high-value contracts, including:

    Machinery and allied engineering services

     

    High-value spend throughout nVent offices and manufacturing facilities in India

     

    Adept in managing multi-site facilities with common contracts, KPIs, and SLAs from vendors

     

    Knowledge of vendor base for the above commodities and ability to execute similar strategies nationwide

    Robust analytical skills to:

    Identify and utilize key data points in large data streams Implement data in day-to-day sourcing decisions

     

    Develop and educate suppliers on performance measurements and continuous improvement principles consistent with nVent's Quality Leadership principles

     

    Partner with Supplier Quality in the supplier selection process and participate in supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards

     

    Responsible for negotiations to achieve the best possible cost service guarantee and develop “win-win” strategies for sustainable supplier relationships

     

    Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost analysis

     

    Assist in implementing supplier agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to agree on contract terms

    Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to:

    Proactively identify supply base issues

     

    Minimize risk

     

    Protect continuity of supply

     

    Utilize emerging opportunities

     

    Team player with the ability to coordinate with multiple departments across multiple sites for projects and regular requirements.

    You have:

    + Academic background in **Commerce/Science, Masters in Business Management / Commerce**

    + Previous experience in or with **8 to 10 or more years work experience handling In-direct commodity in manufacturing industries preferable with multi-site.**
