As the Market Reseacher (Remote Opportunity), you will provide professional support services to the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in support of the DoN Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Transition Program (STP).

The mission of this program is to provide technology commercialization, transition, and professional business assistance through a structured program so that participating small businesses are in the best position to obtain Phase III funding and increase the transition of technologies as they mature to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of approximately 5-7.

In this role you will:

+ Locate, compile, and write cogent market research reports in the general area of technology and its application to Navy Programs of Record and consumer markets.

+ Work closely with the Business Consultants to analyze markets for each SBIR/STTR Phase II project of small businesses participating in the STP program.

+ Support preparation of marketing materials (quad charts, PowerPoint presentations), success story reviews, status reporting, meetings/events, and website content.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

+ Ability to obtain and maintain an active or current DoD Secret clearance.

+ Us Citizenship.

+ A Bachelor's degree.

+ 2 years of work experience.

+ Demonstrated capability to investigate potential markets for a product and prepare professional written reports that incorporate this research.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

+ Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

+ Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.

Additional desired experience and skills:

+ An active or current DoD Secret Clearance.

+ Master’s degree

+ Relevant work experience in Library Sciences.

+ Demonstrated experience in working with the Department of Defense and high-tech community in preparing market analyses.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $63,958.43 - $103,933.76; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
