Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Remainder of 2025–2026 School Year (Possible Extension into 2026–2027)
Work Hours: Full-Time, 35 Hours/Week
Job Description:
We are seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to provide high-quality services to students in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will plan and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), deliver specialized instruction, adapt learning materials, and collaborate with families and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
+ Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities
+ Adapt curriculum and materials for individualized learning
+ Collect and analyze student performance data
+ Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
+ Maintain accurate documentation using IEP Online
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
+ MSDE Certification with endorsement in Special Education
+ No conditional or provisional licenses accepted
+ Minimum 1 year of Special Education teaching experience
+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Credentialing: MD486, CPS, fingerprints, MSDE
+ Current CPR (if applicable), TB screening, and health certificate (if required)
