Speech-Language Pathologist | $90/hr Local or $3,939/week Travel | Full-Time | California | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary and middle school students in California for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin December 1, 2025, and run through the end of the school year.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Ventura, California.

+ Start Date: December 1, 2025

+ Duration: 18 weeks (through end of school year)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

+ Hours/Week: 40

+ Modality: In-person

+ Openings: 2

+ Pay Rate: $90/hr (local) or $3,939/week (travel)

Grade Levels & Caseloads:

+ Elementary: No SDCs; caseload includes gen ed and SAI speech/language students

+ Middle School: No SDCs; caseload includes gen ed and SAI speech/language students

+ Total Caseload: 52 students

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct communication assessments

+ Develop and implement IEPs

+ Provide therapy services aligned with IEP goals

+ Document outcomes and maintain therapy logs

+ Collaborate with school staff and families

+ Participate in SSTs, annual/triennial reviews, and staff meetings

+ Train staff and parents on communication disorders and academic impact

Minimum Requirements:

+ Valid California SLP credential (Clinical/Rehabilitative Services or CA license + CBEST)

+ CCC-SLP preferred

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
