    Special Education Teacher | $50/hr | Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ | 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring seven full-time Special Education Teachers to support students across multiple campuses in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin October 27, 2025, and run for 36 weeks, offering $50/hour for 40 hours/week.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: Phoenix, AZ

    + Start Date: October 27, 2025

    + Duration: 36 weeks (2025–2026 SY)

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

    + Modality: In-person

    + Interview Type: Virtual

    + Openings: 7

    + Pay Rate: $50/hour

    Campus Assignments:

    + 3 openings: 2 inclusion, 1 CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy classroom)

    + 2 openings: High school inclusion (Laveen Village area)

    + 2 openings: SUCCESS program (Desiderata High School)

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide specialized instruction and support for K–12 students

    + Collaborate with general education staff and school teams

    + Develop and implement IEPs

    + Offer tutorial assistance and consultation

    + Participate in planning and team meetings

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

    + Valid Arizona teaching certificate

    + One year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + Preferred certifications: Standard Elementary, Secondary, Special Teaching

    + LBS1 endorsement preferred

    + CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
