Salary: $3250 / Week

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergentcritical care areas.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current Registered Nurse License within the state ofpractice

+ Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

*7 day shifts / 3 night shifts

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

+ Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

+ Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

+ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications:

+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) or RQIPALS: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications:

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS: Required

Essential Functions:

+ Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient?s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient?s situation.

+ Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team.

+ Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.

+ Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

General Comments ER RN:

- 13 week contract

- 36/48 hour options

- 48 hours a week pay is $3250 OR $2408/ wkly gross for 36 hrs

- must have 3 years of Recent ER exp.

- for submission I need Amergis cover page, Resume, Nursys, Certs (BLS, ACLS, PALS) and with email submission I need full social and DOB
