Duration: 13 weeks to start
Schedule: Monday – Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: Up to $55/hr (based on experience)
Position Summary:
Amergis Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy clinic in Great Barrington, MA. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient setting and enjoys working closely with patients and providers to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Triage patients via phone or walk-in to assess urgency and care level.
+ Ambulatory outpatient experience required
+ Assist physicians during procedures requiring nursing support.
+ Administer immunizations and allergy shots.
+ Manage prescription requests and process lab results.
+ Review charts, flag abnormal results for provider review, and file normal results.
+ Contact patients with results as directed.
+ Document all procedures performed.
+ Support patient flow by rooming patients as needed.
+ Provide guidance to staff within scope of practice.
Qualifications:
+ Active, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license.
+ Prior experience in a clinic setting.
+ Comfortable with:
+ Triage
+ Primary or Urgent Care
+ General Family Practice
+ Pediatrics
+ OBGYN
+ Ambulatory Outpatient
+ Experience with Athena EMR is a plus, but not required.
