Job Description
The Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS) is looking to hire aPension System Training and Performance Analyst (Management Analyst 3)in the Performance Management Bureau. The Pension System Training and Performance Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on IPERS pension benefit processes, administration, and system functionality. The position will evaluate, create, and deliver educational material to employees and other stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
+ Serve as the primary liaison between the Member Operations Division and the Retirement Automation Bureau on topics related to IPERS’ pension administration system.
+ Serve as the primary system training resource on IPERS’ pension system operations and functions.
+ Develop system training curriculum and determine delivery options.
+ Leverage data and analysis to identify learning needs, design engaging lesson plans and course materials, and develop interactive e-learning modules using authoring tools, particularly Articulate 360.
+ Monitor workflow, Benefits Analytics and Measures, and Tableau reports to track, reassign, monitor/review work progress.
+ Generate workflow reports to ensure performance measures are being met and provide reports to supervisors as requested.
+ Serve as mentor and authoritative source of the retirement program information for division staff resources.
+ Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for IPERS’ pension administration system.
+ Assist division supervisors with coordination of division resources to perform system testing.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
+ Graduation from anaccreditedfour-year college or university with a degree in any field,and experience equal to three years of full-time work in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations. **Applicants are requested to attach an Unofficial Transcript to their NeoGov application** Failure to do so may result in disqualification
+ All of the following (a and b):
+ Three years of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and
+ A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.
+ All of the following (a, b, and c):
+ One year of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and
+ A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience; and
+ A total of two years of graduate-level education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where twenty-four semester hours of accredited graduate college or university coursework in business administration, industrial management, statistics, natural science, or a closely-related field equals one year of full-time experience. **Applicants are requested to attach an Unofficial Transcript to their NeoGov application** Failure to do so may result in disqualification
+ Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full-time work as a Management Analyst 2 or two and a half years as a Management Analyst 1.
