    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives

    + Create, oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards

    + Manage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed, and ensuring the organization's assets are well-maintained

    + Ensure that all facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, manage permits and certifications, and stay informed about industry standards

    + Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with established service levels

    + Implement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact

    + Conduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure that maintenance work meets established standards

    + Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, or other crises

    + Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to understand their facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives

    + Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

    + Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance

    + Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment

    + Proven leadership and management skills

    + Experience with budget management
