Be part of the Leadership team that is responsible for providing certification oversight. The Product Assurance Airworthiness & Certification (PAAC) team within the CTO organization has a Sr Certification Engineering Manager position available. You will be responsible for adherence to the Honeywell and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Partnering for Safety Plan (PSP) and work with members of leadership from various locations to ensure compliance to the Honeywell Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) and Technical Standard Order (TSO) organization requirements, procedures and processes. You will lead and manage a group of talented professionals who provide and develop expertise to facilitate the successful development and certification of Honeywell products.
Key Responsibilities
+ Drive organizational excellence through coaching, developing exceptional talent, recognizing and leading team members/staff
+ Support and Lead your team of Certification, Development & Engineering Quality Engineers
+ Support business strategy development
+ Assist with developing standardized processes that may be used across Aerospace to adhere to relevant requirements and industry guidelines to efficiently ensure compliance
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
+ 5+ years of experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams,
+ 8+ years of experience in the development, quality assurance, certification, or manufacturing of avionics systems & equipment

+ Experience working with the Airworthiness Authorities (FAA, EASA, etc.) and/or government agencies (DOD, NASA, Commercial Space, etc.)
+ Excellent English language skills required and excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
+ Basic knowledge of avionics systems required
+ Strong organizational, problem solving and managerial skills required
+ Knowledgeable in required regulations, policies, and industry standards applicable to qualification and certification of aerospace systems and equipment
+ Knowledgeable in estimating Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA) compliant proposals
+ Knowledgeable in Quality Management Systems (e.g., AS9100, AS9115, ISO9001)
