CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer III opening for our client in Bear, DE.

**Duration:** 12 months

Overview:

Responsible for designing and developing complex applications, providing technical direction, and serving as a principal designer for critical components. Utilizes advanced analytical and technical skills to develop scalable solutions that meet business objectives. Often leads and mentors less experienced developers.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Lead and contribute to complex systems analysis, design, development, and testing.

+ Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using .NET, SQL Server, and Azure.

+ Develop .NET UI and APIs; implement automation testing with Selenium.

+ Coordinate and mentor junior developers on assigned projects.

+ Analyze and document system requirements, interdependencies, and workflows.

+ Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and project plans.

+ Recommend and evaluate new technologies to enhance system performance.

+ Ensure adherence to development standards, security, and risk management policies.

+ Maintain advanced technical expertise and assist in budgeting and resource planning.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Works under technology management with autonomy on high-level design and development. Leads technical teams, manages project deliverables, and collaborates with senior management, clients, and vendors.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

Leads and mentors less experienced technical staff; oversees project execution and ensures quality deliverables.

Education and Experience Required:

+ Strong hands-on experience with **.NET, SQL Server, Azure** , and **.NET APIs/UI** .

+ **Automation testing** experience using **Selenium** .

+ Associate’s degree and 6+ years of systems analysis/application development, or 8+ years combined experience and education.

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

+ Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.

Education and Experience Preferred:

+ In-depth knowledge of banking application frameworks and integrated systems.

+ Expertise in system architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.

+ Ability to manage multiple complex projects and work autonomously or collaboratively.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
