    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    We’re seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! This position will focus primarily on in-house painting for resident apartments, common areas, and campus buildings, while also assisting with general maintenance tasks as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, patching, and touch-ups.

    + Prepare and maintain painting supplies, tools, and work areas.

    + Assist the maintenance team with some duties like plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance tasks when needed.

    + Complete work orders efficiently and maintain high-quality workmanship.

    + Provide courteous and professional service to Elders, guests, and team members at all times.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Minimum of 2 years of painting experience (residential or commercial).

    + Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair tasks.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Must be dependable, organized, and respectful when working in Elders’ living spaces.
