This role provides high-level administrative support for both the Dental and Podiatry Residency Programs — helping residents, faculty, and students stay organized, accredited, and on track. You’ll be the go-to contact for program operations, accreditation coordination (CPME & CODA), and communication between residents, directors, and hospital partners.

+ Manage recruitment and onboarding for residents and clerkship students.

+ Maintain confidential academic and credentialing files for faculty, residents, and students.

+ Assist with departmental meetings, reports, and projects for the Chair and Program Directors.

+ Organize events such as orientation, graduation, and educational sessions.

+ Act as a liaison between residents, faculty, and external partners to ensure smooth program communication.

+ Promote teamwork, diversity, and a positive, professional environment across all interactions.

    Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree required in a related field such as health sciences, business, public administration or education, or a combination of experience and education resulting in attainment of equivalent knowledge and abilities

+ Five years progressively responsible experience in an administrative support role including administration of an education program

+ Excellent computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and E-mail programs

+ Excellent communication skills and professional presence with a customer service orientation.

+ Ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, government and community leaders, and the general public.

+ Ability to recognize and handle priority incoming calls.

    + Pleasant telephone demeanor.

+ A team oriented individual with the ability to deal effectively with department staff in the resolution of problems and the completion of task.

+ Ability to process and integrate complex information and appropriately exercise independent judgment.

+ Ability to organize and deal with workload that involves tight deadlines, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously as well as confidentially with minimal or no supervision.

+ Ability to organize large amounts of varied material, research policies and procedures, perform simple bookkeeping tasks, and transcribe dictated materials.

+ Ability to work independently on projects.

    Preferred:

+ Knowledge of accreditation or credentialing
