Job Description Summary
As the Marketing Director, Surgery - you will be responsible for developing, influencing and activating a customer-focused marketing in the U.S. You will learn about the customer’s needs and what the Surgery portfolio of products, services, financing, third-party offerings, and additional expertise GE Healthcare has to offer to meet those needs of Surgery (OEC C-arms) customers. You will look for ways, big and small, to position and differentiate GE Healthcare Surgery offerings to customers, sales and product teams. You will work deeply and broadly with regional business teams and marketing colleagues, product managers, global marketers and others to create success.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Outline strategic priorities to position GE Healthcare's Surgery portfolio to win with customers.
+ Execute a marketing plans (market forecasting, sales enablement, digital marketing, account-based marketing and experiential activities) with marketing colleagues and product managers.
+ Use customer, market and competitive research, along with colleague insights and expertise, to understand customers’ clinical, operational and economic needs to identify opportunities.
+ Contribute to globally developed, research-based materials that strengthen value propositions for GE Healthcare offerings, based in U.S. region customer needs.
+ Be partnership-minded, always looking for a way to say “Yes, and…” and create trust by being a colleague willing to pitch in every day.
+ Collaborate with sales, product management, marketing and business colleagues to understand priorities and drivers to support portfolio growth through lead generation, win/loss, and market share growth.
+ Build relationships with global and USCAN marketing colleagues, aligning portfolio insights, positioning and opportunities to aid in marketing communications content development and channel execution (such as testimonial development, install base engagement).
+ Enable comprehensive sales-customer engagement through lead generation programs (digital, exhibits, partner events), demonstration capabilities (virtual, filmed, in person), and proposal/RFP/corporate contracts support.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science or Business Administration, MBA preferred
+ 10+ years in marketing, sales or product development of technology products/services in a corporate environment
Desired Characteristics
+ 3+ years medical technology marketing/commercial experience, surgical experience preferred
+ Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with sales and product development teams
+ Experience document, plan, market and executing marketing plans that drive measurable customer benefits, and business metrics
+ Experience developing strong customer-centric value propositions and marketing content
+ Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
+ Project management skills, including budget and agency interface
+ Location – Salt Lake City preferred, remote optional
