Position Overview
As a CT Technologist at GMC, you'll work in a critical access hospital setting, offering a diverse and rewarding patient care experience. You'll operate specialized CT equipment to produce diagnostic images, assist physicians and radiologists with procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Key Responsibilities
+ Model GMC's mission, values, and service standards
+ Maintain compliance with all safety and performance standards
+ Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately
+ Operate CT equipment using proper radiation safety protocols
+ Administer contrast media and assist with diagnostic procedures
+ Maintain inventory and cleanliness of imaging rooms
+ Perform clerical tasks including image management and documentation
+ Participate in quality assurance and control activities
+ Support patient transport and other duties as needed
+ Communicate concerns to Modality Lead, Imaging Medical Director, or supervisor
+ All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Montana
+ Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
+ Current BLS certification
Preferred:
+ One year of prior CT experience
Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic techniques
+ Ability to operate CT equipment and perform quality control
+ Effective communication and teamwork skills
+ Physical strength and agility to position patients safely
Physical Requirements
+ Prolonged standing, reaching, and bending
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Good vision, hearing, and communication skills
