Job Description Summary
GE HealthCare is seeking a Manufacturing Program Leader to provide leadership, planning, and technical support for our tubes organization, with a strong focus on Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) product implementation. In this role, you will establish budgets and execution plans that ensure customer and program commitments are met with quality, timeliness, and cost-efficiency. You’ll collaborate across functions to integrate activities and drive results, while also flexing to support a variety of product quality initiatives. The primary area of focus includes x-ray insert and tube-level processing departments, though your impact may extend across broader manufacturing operations.

Job Description
Roles Responsibilities
+ Identify opportunities to reduce the ICV of the product and drive testing engineering design concepts into manufacturing.
+ Ensure early focus on manufacturability in New Product Introduction (NPI), existing install base products, and Advanced Technology programs.
+ Lead process capability assessments, process layout planning, tooling and equipment development, and design transfer activities in a regulated environment.
+ Ensure process capability and sustainability to meet customer demand.
+ Drive implementation of new technologies and continuous product quality improvements through successful design integration into production.
+ Identify and lead robust solutions for current and future supply chain challenges, including issues related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design.
+ Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes impacted by design transfer activities.
+ Integrate the technology roadmap with design transfer initiatives.
+ Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation, including rigorous planning, execution, and acceptance criteria.
+ Maintain full compliance with EHS, FDA, OSHA, and other applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
+ B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree and 6 years of engineering and/or manufacturing experience or 4 years of experience and graduation from a GE leadership program.
Desired Characteristics
+ Cross-functional program experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
+ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and planning skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) across all organizational levels.
+ Proven experience leading design transfer activities or programs.
+ Clear, strategic thinker with sound decision-making abilities.
+ Background in process-intensive manufacturing environments.
+ Experience in both product and process development.
+ Demonstrated program or project management capabilities.
+ Prior experience in medical device or other highly regulated industries.
+ Certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
+ Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Material Resource Planning (MRP), and Device History Record (DHR) systems.
