Join **Waste Connections** as a **Heavy Equipment Operator** at our Transfer Station in Weatherford, TX. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment.

•️ Job Duties:

+ Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor

+ Spreading daily cover using a Dozer

+ Excavating soil using an excavator

+ Maintaining haul roads using a grader

+ Hauling soil

+ Work in a fast paced, team environment

+ Follow safe operating practices

+ Operate D6T Dozer,826K Compactor, ADT Haul Truck, Motor Grader, Excavator Sweeper, Water Truck

+ WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

+ Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.

+ The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

• Requirements:

+ Valid driver’s license.

+ Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.

• $21/hour based on experience
