We are actively seeking creative, highly skilled junior-level landscape designers with 3 to 5 years of experience for immediate employment in our New York City studio.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of talented designers and studio leadership, including National ASLA Design Medalist Tom Balsley. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a dynamic studio, develop a robust portfolio of built work of the highest design caliber, and engage with various other studios of SWA – the largest design-centric landscape architecture firm in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Accredited degree in Landscape Architecture

+ 3-5 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture firm

+ Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

+ Attention to detail and organization

+ Strong communication skills (graphic, written, and verbal)

+ Effective time management skills

+ Positive attitude and sense of accountability

+ Proficiency in:

+ AutoCAD

+ 3D modeling (Rhino or SketchUp)

+ Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)

+ Lumion

+ Hand sketching

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Light project management experience.

+ Experience working on projects for NYC agencies, particularly DPR Capital Division, EDC, and DDC.

+ Experience working on international projects, particularly in the Middle East and Asia.

+ Experience with:

+ Revit

+ Grasshopper

+ ArcMap/ ArcGIS
