Job Summary

The primary duty of this position is support for data analytics and strategic sourcing initiatives in collaboration with the department.

Responsibilities:

+ Contributes to the achievement of defined performance targets and participates in competitive RFPs as necessary.

+ Provide support in strategic sourcing events (RFI, RFP) using e-tools and Excel based analytics.

+ Prepares&develops all required documentation including content, bid sheet, in-depth analysis of price proposals and project briefs.

+ Coordinate with buyers and extended cross-functional teams on sourcing requirements, establishing baseline (annual spend, volumes, etc.) and identifying potential suppliers.

+ Supports the execution of the 7-step strategic sourcing process including category deep-dives, category strategy development, and sourcing approach identification.

+ Support the development and reporting of departmental key performance indicators.

+ Completes data entry into contract database within company data management tool.

+ Drives completion of multiple projects and reporting needs simultaneously, collaborating with respective business units

+ Provides input, support, and execution on initiatives for continuous improvement within the department (SOP’s, reference documents, visual aids, database creation, etc.)

+ Communicates proactively and effectively with all stakeholders to foster relationships across varied functions.

+ Knowledgeable on the strategic sourcing process, drafting of contracts, financial reviews, and procurement practices.

+ Performs data/spend analysis to identify value/savings opportunities across spend and report in digestible format.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

+ Minimum of 1 year experience in supply chain (distribution, category), finance, business administration, food&beverage, or grocery retail

+ Effective written&verbal communication skills

+ Project Management skills / experience
